Default Power Steering Pump Advice Please

Our 2001 XK8 Convertible is leaking P/S fluid from somewhere on or above the P/S pump and it has started to make grinding noise I can feel in the steering wheel at full lock. I suspect I need a new P/S pump. So my questions are:

1) New or remanufactured?
2) Remanufactured by Cardone, ARC, ATSCO, ACDELCO, AAE, LARES, or other?
3) What pipes does the forum feel should be replaced at the same time?
4) This is a Dex3 car - what brands are liked or disliked?
5) There is a filter inside the reservoir. Is there a need or a way to back flush it, or should I replace it, or leave it alone?

I promised my wife I would try to keep her kitty running forever, if I can afford it. The forum has helped me keep that promise so far, and I am asking for your help once again. Many thanks in advance, fellow Jaguar lovers.

You will probably find that the gasket between the two halves of the pump is leaking. Replacing the pump is not a fun job in my opinion but others have done it as you have to use a crow's foot wrench on one bolt (excellent how to on this site). Do a close inspection on the pressure line as it may leak after you replace the pump.
I had mine done at a shop so no feed back on the reman.
