Question on LTFT and STFT
Replaced my air filter (overdue and dirty ,My Bad ) cleaned the MAF sensor, checked hoses for leaks or cracks none found cleaned the throttle body, did this for as previously posted had P0172 and P0175.
My fuel trims are running differently, is that to be expected after a filter change? all 4 running at just over -1.0 to 5.0 at Idol.
On acceleration stft jump briefly to 20+ then settle down to 8 to 10.
Should I do a hard reset after what I did? any input welcome. Oh car runs great otherwise.
Thanks for any thoughts. .

Clearing the DTCs, cleaning and/or replacing the MAFS will NOT reset the stored fuel trims.
As RJ237 states, removing power from the ECM or performing a hard reset is the way to set the learned values to default zero.
I usually just pull the ECM fuse if I don't need a complete hard reset but only want to reset the ECM to a 'relearn-state'.
That way the trip odometer is not set to ZERO and all the other things like window settings etc.

Sorry for not getting back sooner, thanks for the suggestion ,did a hard reset and ran her for about an hour at variable conditions local and Hwy,
All fuel trims have never looked better .at idle close to zero and at 2500rpm 60/70mph never gets above +5. To bad winter has hit this area early, looks like Spring before out again, they use to much salt around here. Thanks Much
