Dear all,

The radio in my 98' XK8 has broken down and i am looking for a replacement.
I have the premium type (marked AJ9850R - LBJ4100AA).

Do any of you have a "spare" one for sale, or do you know where to obtain one?

Any idea's on what i need for conversion to a newer aftermarked type?
Forget the original telephone system, i don't use it.

I've left this in XK8/XKR section instead of moving it to Private 'Wanted' Classifieds section because you could get useful advice on better aftermarket options here.

If you want to stay with OE, the radio has to be from a Europe spec vehicle. Used ones are usually available from the specialist UK Jaguar breakers.

Where are you in Norway? I used to work out of Stavanger, Bergen and Tromso. Many years ago.

Hi Colin,
Yes, the one that you link to is exactly the same as the one in my XK.
I think at the problem is located in the internal power supply card, that is easy to replace. Maybe this is OK on your unit. If you should find it, please let me know.
By the way i live nearby Oslo, between the city and Oslo airport.
