Default RealGauge

What aan awsome product!! Instructions are easy to follow and the whole project took about 2 cups of coffee. One question.

What should I consider to be the normal temperature range?

Thanks to Steve for outstanding engineering and packaging.

Glad you got it installed without a hitch Dave!

Normal cruising temperatures should be about 190 -205. Extended idling might creep just slightly higher, but the fans should come on and take it back down.

My 98 runs down the road 70 mph 183-188 and in town with temps 100, 193-206 highest ever seen. (I run the 170 stat)

Mine runs at about 200 most of the time....a tick above midscale with the RealGauge. Nice to know the real temp and have the alarm in place. I didn't install the oil pressure kit beacause I don't want to know.....the last car I had with a working oil pressure gauge drove me crazy. Bad enough watching the instruments all the time while boating, never mind driving!
