Default Rear Light

I have a 2003 XK8. The warning message "check rear lights" came on. My right rear light (next to brake light) was not working. I replaced the bulb with no luck. Followed owners manual instructions and checked the fuses. Fuse #19 was burned out, so I replaced from the color-coded fuses included with the car. That fuse burned out in a few seconds after restarting the car. Any thoughts on what might be causing the issue?

I had a similar problem but didn't burn out fuses. I did this fix for the ground issue.

Inspect the blue wire from the lamp housing to the fusebox for damage and a possible short to the chassis. Also check the lamp socket for any broken metal bits.

Default Rear Light

Was unable to find a solution to the rear light issue I was having despite great suggestions from WhiteXKR and MRomanik. Can anyone recommend a repair facility in Southwest CT (Fairfield County) for Jaguar wiring issues?
