Default rear shock bottom bolt stuck

BACK ONCE AGAIN WITH A PROBLEM ... I'm removing the rear shock and coil spring to replace the both . I have the coil spring compressed. and everything out of they way but I'm stuck on one bolt that will spin freely but won't budge back out i tried hitting it out with a mallet at full force but its still not moving a bit . Can someone please tell me how they got it out...........its almost s if the shock is putting enough pressure on the bolt to keep it in there .

If the nut is off, the Shock bushing is rusted to the bolt. You would need to cut off the bolt (and some shock eye) as close as you can get to the arm without touching it.

Same situation when we changed rear shocks. Had to take rotary tool and cut off wheel to remove the lower shock eye. Made 2 cuts on lower shock eye and removed it from the bushing, then made 2 cuts in the bushing and removed from the bolt. Damaged the bolts while making cuts so we replaced them with new ones from a E-Bay vendor who is also a Dealer. # JBZ100036 fit my 2003. $10-$12 ea. incl nuts. Use adequate anti-seize JIC.
