I have the Alpine premium system in my xk8 and I would like to have a more fuller sound from the back vs the sub only. My question is that if I replace the rear speakers will the stereo give the full speaker sound or continue on in a sub woofer like way>

Hello, I just did a complete stereo upgrade and have verified this info with the installers. No you cannot get full signal to the sub speakers using the factory amp, the signal is sub woofer range specific. The only way to get full range is to go thru a new amp. Here is link for my upgrade.
