Have been driving the red beauty on long(500mi) trips every month with few, to no, issues. All very minor. …….Except for the rear view mirror going suddenly wobbly and falling from the windshield bracket mount…. while I was driving 75mph, on freeway, in heavy/shifting traffic. No way to pull off for miles. And not willing to let it dangle by the electrical, I held it to keep the line loose. 103 degrees F. Pulled into first safe parking lot and tried to push mirror back onto bracket with my hand. Nope. Got my heavy screwdriver out of toolbox and used the handle to to tap it (pretty hard given the lack of space)back onto mount, until the mounting plate couldn’t be seen anymore. Made it home, 150 mi, some rough road construction, without incident. Without accident. Without ticket. Held tight. Me AND the mirror. I will look at other posts for how to deal with this…
