I've given up trying to pair my remote with the car. Some time ago I changed the SLM and managed to pair it but since disconnecting the battery for other
work but now it won't pair again. It doesn't even beep every time when you open the door so I suspect my SLM is not 100%.

I'm willing to buy a remote and SLM together. The module list on the car says LJB2600BA but would I get more reliability from LJB2600BB or BC both SLM and remote?

XK8 Coupe 1997 and it's awesome in every other way.
