Default Remove rear parcel shelf trim

Well thats what we call it in the UK... The trim under the back window behind the back seat .. Need access to do the fuel pump. Rather than have a go at it thought I would get information. Not sure how the speaker cover comes out ...strange bolts on the underside ....thanks in advance.

The subwoofer cover just clips into the shelf. The bolts are for the driver itself.

I hope the fabric on your shelf is in a better state than mine was - close to a biohazard

While you were typing I prised up the cover and yes 4 clips....then took out the 4 screws and have limited access.
Would like to have taken out the whole rear shelf trim and cut a bigger hole but it looks like 3mm thick board stuck down....my trim looks good but has detached in places.
PS..had another look and may try to get it out and re trim as the material is only £12

thanks again

The panel iteself isn't stuck down other than, IIRC, a small flap of the material glued to the front top of the rear bulkhead. The backing is that naff cardboardy stuff.
There's just a couple of flat-head screws behind the rear seat back.

I'm not sure if it will come out without at least releasing the rear quarter panels, though.

Well worth the effort, IMO. I couldn't find the correct colour material (Antelope?) so had it covered with the same as the headlining.

Rear quarters and the seat tops need to be out to get the shelf panel out. It is worth the time, far easier to recover it out of the car and you can be somewhere with better controls for that biohazard dust.

I only cut the part between the front edge and the speaker cover and it came out fine /....used a normal wood saw.
Going to cut it in half and re trim .
