X100 convertable missing trim needed.
New trim question. I find myself, all of a sudden, missing the outside window trim on the left rear quarter glass. It's the one with the squeegee that keeps water out of the lower window. Do these fall off regularly?
The one on the passenger side has a grey painted area along it.
It was there 2 days ago, wtf?

Trim items are the first to disappear from Jaguar inventory after a model is superseded and they become hard to find. UK dealers don't carry this part and I suspect US dealers will be the same unless they have old stock.
The missing piece sounds like the Rear Quarter Glass Waist Seal.

Graham, David, Steve;
It is in fact the rear quarter window waist seal. I looked it up n my CD ROM Manual. SNG doesn't list that exact piece, but I suspect I could call them. The rear quarter finisher for the coupe is around $600.!! That's gonna stay gone at that rate.
I left a note on it to autobahn kid. We shall see.

JAGBITS+++++++++, They are the best. They sent not the part I ordered but the one I t fits on. I email them at 5:0 PM EST. Day got Back to me right away after I sent the a picture in the email and a picture of the part they sent (the plate that the trim sets on.
Dan said they made a mistake pulling the belt-waist trim piece and they would send it right out. He also said that I didn't need to return the other part, just keep it and he would eat the shipping.
This was the single most wonderful experience I have ever had with a parts house!
THANK YOU EVERYONE INCLUDING Dan at JAGBITS IS A FIRST CLASS OPERATION AND THEY ARE THE TOP TIER OF PEOPLE TO DEAL WITH. I AND GOING TO PUT IT AND THE RIGHTONE ON WITH Shoe Goo (already did thr right rear quarter) the suff is stronger than the almighty. Should work fine.
Thanks to all!!!!
