Removing clips from side mirror cover in 2004 XKR
I have a 2004 Jaguar XKR. I'm trying to replace the side view mirror after a driver hit it while I was parked. The back cover is in good shape and is Jupiter Red, so very hard to find a replacement for.
I'd like to remove the back cover and replace the side mirror with a used one, but there are clips holding the cover in place (this seems unusual based on other forums I've seen). Does anyone have an idea on how to remove these so I can remove the cover and use it on a new mirror assembly?
