Since its a 4.0L, have you considered Jag Specialties LS conversion ? I know that lots of folks don't like the idea of an LS in a Jag but it's worth some thought IMO

Confession time...........Since I didn't have to buy a new car.........and with the funds......... I might have saved.........and before the engine was slipped in, we managed to squeeze in a Andre Vos/Kenne bell, 2.6 LH twin screw thingy-ma-jig.........and a few more........things to make it all work. It's kinda quietly special. (Thank you Andre!)

i would not be concerned about not being in the UK. I get most of my stuff from the UK. Never had a any problems. They always ship to Nfld faster than from an equivalent distance in the US or even Canada.

Just called them. A 5 speed tranny (90 day warranty) is 1,500. Has 72k miles. Probably better to go w/ a rebuilt?
