I am in the middle of replacing the water pump and the new style i received is slightly different design and did not come with an o ring, everything seems to be in the right place just the way it connects to the head is a little different. does anyone know if this new style requires an o ring? if so do i need a jag specific one or..

 

No O-ring. Should have come with a new gasket.
