Restricted Performance - #12 Fuse keeps blowing
My car has developed “Restricted Performance” with the check engine light in the past week. Hard to start and idles rough. Here are the DTCs stored in the vehicle. P0447 P0482 P0480 P1144 and P0112. Problem is, it keeps blowing fuse #12 in the engine bay fuse box which supplies B+ to the MAFS, Air/fuel ratio valve on the throttle body, ECM side of the cooling fan relay and the EVAP purge valve. Has anyone ever had this happen to them before? It is now at the dealer and we figure there is a short to ground somewhere in the wiring. The fuse box and connecter have been cleaned up but the fuse continues to blow after about five minutes of running. Just can’t find where the splice is for these items as it is not indicted on the wiring schematic. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
