Default Ride height

Does anyone know what the correct front and rear ride height should be on the XK8? I measured the vertical distance between each wheel hub centre and the top of the wheel arch and got a different measurement for each wheel in the order of between a quarter-inch and a half-inch!

Curb Specs are: Front - 15.74 inch, Rear 15.94 inch

Mine have never been close.

mine aren't all the same either. As long as i can't tell by just looking at the car, i'm ok with the slight difference.

Question shocks

when i replaced my shocks with new units i found that my cat was sitting taller and equal on all sides. Now i look at her and think.... damn i want to lower it now! :-)

i was wondering if any one knows of some springs that will lower her and not make the CATS ride control go crazy?

OK. Thanks for the replies. Good to see it's not particularly unusual for the ride height to be off.
