Default Is this right?

I just tried opening my pass door after hitting the unlock button on the
FOB but the door remained locked. Drivers door unlocked and once I
got in the car I unlocked the pass door via door handle.
Is this normal ops or am I doing something wrong?

LOL, and one day you'll realize this too... try and follow me here.

(1) You unlock your door with the remote, you've got a date or friend waiting to get in on the passenger side.

(2) Before you hit the button once again to unlock their door, they try to lift the handle...no entry. But, since they did that, you can't use your remote now.

(3) You must get in, close your door, lock your door, then unlock it again to release their locking mechanism on their door.

It's a very weird process...but I can't do it any other way.

Okay! I don't feel so bad now, knowing there is someone else as soft brained as me JKWY!! LOL

I am having a blast learning the little things about this car. I can't get
enough of driving it. I have burned up a 1/4 tank of gas since yesterday
already. I love this thing. Yeah there are some frustrations but I believe
they will work out. Right now that darn ABS light and message telling
me the Stabilty Control has failed. That is an alarming fault to see
pop up on the msg center. It scared Hell outa me the 1st time I saw
it. I had to pull over and read up quick on the manual. Of course
this happened on my Wife's 1st ride. Not real impressive. She just
kinda rolled her eyes at me!

you just let us know the first time she asks to borrow the car; of course she'll act like 'no big deal', may even sigh...but we all know the truth.
