Default rim and tire application question

I found a set of tires and rims on Craigslist that might look better than the standard "revolvers" that are currently on my 98 xk8 soft top.

Seller states they are Front Wheels 5 x 120.65 Bolt Pattern 18 x 8 33 offset with 245/45R18 tires
Rear Wheels 18 x 9 35 offset with 255/55R18 tires

this sounds like they should fit but I wanted to be sure.

Any advice? seller is asking $800.00 for the complete set with tires

thanks in advance,

Barry

Remember Jag uses a different lug nut design [w/ a washer] on its wheels. I have aftermarket OZ wheels, and need to use 'V' 45' standard wedge-type lug nuts.

Best bet if you can is to mount a tire at the seller's house. But then you already thought of that. ;-) gordo

So I don't think that answered his question. I'm commenting because I've posted a similar question, and yet to receive any answers. Why do members shy away from answering questions about the xk8 'offset' here? IF this question has already been answered on this site could someone please direct me to the thread? Because really have been searching....sighhh Thx All

I'm assuming those are XKR wheels since that is the correct bolt pattern and offset, so they will fit.

I do not know the offset for the wheels on my car, and did not want to give advice on topics that I am unsure. However, I did a little research and found this fitment guide you can use and learn for yourself what might fit your car:

Custom Jaguar wheels by Coventry, performance wheels for Jaguar, Jaguar X-Type wheels, S-Type Jaguar wheels, XJ6 Jaguar wheels, XJ8 Jaguar wheels, XJR Jaguar wheels, XK8 Jaguar wheels, XK Jaguar wheels, and wheels for the Jaguar XKR

Steve just answered this Q in another post above, and I defer to that: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-offset-81458/
