Nice day, thought I'd take a ride. dropped the top and as I was leaving, I noticed that the latch was up. stopped and tried to raise and lower with no luck. Manully pulled up the top and tried to work it. if I have the front windows up, they lower. I can hear switches or sens.ers working.
Ideas?

 

Check the fluid level for the hydrolic pump in trunk
it is on passenger side above the CD player in trunk. Remove the panel and check fluid level. If low, use a small hand pump to refill

First check the fluid level and refill if necessary then check the petcock closed. It has a tendency to work loose. I am assuming that you had pushed the up and down operating button several times out of frustration and your roof might be a bit confused. If this is taking place you will need to open the roof, park the latch and then do a hard reset then close the roof electrically.

 

yes I did us. Hard Reset? Oh boy. This is probably above my pay grade. Looks like I'll see how good my indy is.

Hard reset, remove both battery terminals and touch them together for a short while,it de-energises the ECU. Reconnect terminals. Hard reset performed

 

Busted hose caused by previous work and not secured. Should be up and ready by Monday.
