Default Roof Rail Seal Replacement

I have some tearing in the passenger side roof rail seal on my 99 XK8 Convertible and I'm wondering if anyone has any How To experience on replacing this piece?

It looks like the Jag Part # is R HJG778M and official name is Seal, Frt Top

The rest of the weather stripping looks to be in excellent shape.

The correct part number is actually HJG7778AA for the right (passenger side) top front seal. I am pretty sure it can just be stretched onto the retainer. Unfortunately it is outrageously expensive: See Jaguar Parts - Direct JPLV Porsche Parts.com

I was about to say that.

Using super glue and waxed paper I was able to reform the seal into a usable gasket. Super glue is really permanent and stronger than the material it is bonding.

Thanks for the responses. Wondering if I did want to change it out though, what the procedure would be. Looks like it would be simple but I can't quite figure out where to get started.
