Wondered if anyone has any thoughts or suggestions on this.

Car was running ok after standing for a while but has just started running rough for about 30 seconds on startup. It feels like a missfire so I am thinking that a coil might be breaking down ? It also idles high (about 1400 rpm) when running rough but drops back to around 700 rpm when the roughness goes.

No codes stored or warnings present.
Only things I can think of are coil, spark plug or possible crank sensor but I would expect a code with a missfire ?

Maybe an air leak so look at fuel trims.

 

lf you havent already done so i would clean the MAF sensor.
