Default Sacrilege with a capital S

Came across these 'genuine Recaro seats' from a '99 XKR for sale on UK eBay. Start price: £500

Any takers?

Didn't think so.

Should you be interested, be advised that new leather covers for these seats from Jaguar are the best part of £3000 a pair. I know, because I've been looking out for some for my car for 18 months.

Thought you'd be straight across La Manche to Ashford for those this morning.

It's not quite Paisley Pattern but I believe a good wrapping shop could sample it and wrap your car to match.
What a head turner!

Pity I knocked the wall down, they would have matched the wall paper!

I suppose - to be fair to the seller - they might be useful for spares, but who in their right mind would choose those covers?

Must have been the Laura Ashley edition, or is that Flora Ghastly edition!

This is a photo of Recaro seats that I purchased & had recovered in leather. We used the oem covers as a template & used a much higher quality leather. The seats look so much better than oem & are all leather including the back panels. The whole project cost me about $3000.00 for labor & materials. If someone is looking for set it would be a chance to recover them & have new seats instaed of finding a pair that will be at least 6 years old. I found the original listing for those seats on the XKEC site. They came from the Jaguar Heritage collection.
