Seat Control Module

Seat Control Module
Looks like I'll need a new seat control module.
I found some on eBay, but the numbers don't quite match. The main number on mine is: LJE2160AB. The one I'm thinking about is off an XJ8 with the number LNC2160AD. It looks identical. All the connectors seem to match. It's for my passenger seat which doesn't have memory or seat cushion tilt, but is heated.
Does anyone know if I can use it?
Does anyone have a spare they'd like to sell?
Thanks guys!

I would suggest that you can get your module repaired for the most common problems for about 25% of a replacement.

Yeh, .. did a double check too. Also put the driver's module in the pax seat, and everything worked.
I opened the module up. As mentioned in the module repair thread, it looks as if a couple of my circuit traces might be corroded. Apparently just a few drops of something made it into the box and did the deed. I may try soldering in some jumpers just to see if that takes care of it. Should be simple and quick, "if" it works (and if I don't screw it up! - lol)

Hi Steve,
My schedule got seriously moved to the right and I had to go with Darrell. I have no doubt I'll "take advantage" of you sometime soon though - lol.
For those of you who have module failures and run into this thread prior to others, the gentleman in question here is an ex-Navy gent by the name of Darrell Turner who has a track record of fixing these things. He's located in San Diego; phone number 858-649-9090; and he was a pretty decent guy to talk to.
