Default seat controls

hi everyone,

the back/ forward switch has dropped off the drivers seat. looks like the plastic clips snapped.

can anyone tell me how i get the switch plate off the seat without damaging it?
does it just unclip? i didnt want to force it too much.

all the microswitches still work fine

regards,
Ross

I took my seat out last week to fix the headrest drive cable. It was easy, 4 torque bolts and two plugs. I suggest taking the seat out to work on it, this might make the task simpler.

Be very careful taking the switch pack out. I broke the clips on the back plate, which apparently you can't replace so mine's held in with sticky-backed velcro now.

How did you fix the drive cable? Neither headrest on mine seems to move, but the motors whir. Particularly when tilting the seats forward ro get in the back. I figure something is disconnected. [EDIT: OK, I've found the Rev Sam videos, so let me answer my own question! :-) ]
