Seat Gap
New owner here. There is a substantial (inch or 2) gap between the bottom seat cushion and the bottom of the backrest cushion in my XKR, such that if I put something small on a seat and it slides backwards it can fall between the crack and wind up on the floor behind the seat. Is this normal or is there an adjustment I can make to the seat to get rid of the gap, or maybe a seat plug to buy?
In my 2002 XKR something thin like an envelope or maybe a pencil can get past the gap my passenger seat has, but nothing thicker than that.
normal or not normal ? But the passenger sest does look like new. At least it does compared to the well worn drivers side .
OP,
what year is your car ?

Fixed it. Turns out one of the seat adjustments can lower just the back of the seat cushion, to a maximum of about 2 inches from the bottom of the backrest. There's a leather flap on the bottom of the backrest that's supposed to fill the resulting gap, but mine wasn't very straight anymore so it didn't fill in the gap well. Thanks for the clues.
