Our iCarsoft code reader displays several minor fault codes for the driver and passenger seats and both mirrors. All motors are working as designed, but the codes will not clear. Any ideas to clear these spurious codes?

 

Are you sure the codes really relate to the seats and mirrors? You might want to post the actual codes in this thread, rather than any interpretation that the reader is giving you.

Is the check engine light on? If it isn't, then there really isn't any need to clear the codes. Also if you live somewhere where the annual inspection wants to see the drive cycle readiness monitors set, don't do a hard reset or you might live to regret it come inspection time.

 

I've had good luck clearing codes that my iCarSoft wouldn't touch with the Torque app and a cheap bluetooth OBD scanner.
But to dibbit's point, convince yourself that you want/need them cleared first.
