Has anyone ever swapped their front seats for those from another jag? I'm not talking Ricardo racing seats or anything like that.

My front seats are pretty worn and if i am honest I don't find them that comfortable either. They are also pretty high even when on the lowest setting.

My XE on the other hand is really comfortable and I feel like my **** is on the road. I spend 3 hours a day in that car and have never felt uncomfortable so am thinking i could prob pick up a seat of XE front seats cheaper than retrimming the xkr ones.

Has anyone tried something similar?

Heaters should be straight forward to connect as just on or off but not sure whether all the position memory would work correctly or not.

 

I've thought about switching out seats. But the XE is a sedan and the XK is a coupe. The sedan seats are not likely to fold forward which would make rear seat access a problem. Even if no one sits back there the back seats are useful to carry luggage.

 

I did consider this too but carrying luggage is not something that is ever likely to happen in my xkr. Well, not more luggage than I am able to fit in the boot anyway.

Jaguar never made any other 2 door cars with rear seats since the xk and I don't really fancy the x150 seats either.

Unless you go really left field and use a completely different brand but I presume compatibility would be an even greater issue then.
