Default Seat won't move back on track

My passenger seat was moved all the way forward and now won't move back! What do I do. Might be the switch is bad and I am hoping to take a short drive this weekend with the wife. Is there a simple release to move it back manually? Can I pill the switch out and reverse wires or something? Once the seat is moved to the rear it'll never bet moved forward again!,

The culprit is often a failed seat module. You can remove it from underneath the seat, cut it open, and look for the failed circuit board traces that need to be re-soldered. Plenty of information here on the forum - just search using "seat module repair" as your key phrase....

But first you may want to remove your seat (just four bolts), unclip both electrical connectors underneath it, clean the connectors with electrical contact cleaner spray, re-fasten the connectors, check the wiring, re-install the seat, and test it. That may fix your problem in 15 to 20 minutes of your time....

Did you check the fuse? If it's good, Jon nailed the troubleshooting from there.

Turned out the knob over the switch hadn't been put back on correctly whe the new leather covers were just put on. The little white bar connecting between the knob and the switch wasn't inserted correctly into the knob. Whew!!!
