Default Seat won't tilt forward

2004 XK8 - Completed the headrest re4pair which went well thanks to all the information on this forum. I am unable to manually tilt the seat back forward to gain entry to the rear seat. I m not sure what I did as I did not remove the seat form the car. Any pointers or advice would be appreciated. All worked prior to me fixing the head rest.

Thanks

Steve, It sounds to me that you have disturbed the Cable connection to the lower latch. Have a look that it is still connected. It is the black plastic pin (shown with green mark) located at the rear hinge at the base of the seat.
