Quick question for anyone that may be able to confirm this.

I am trying confirm the color code for the carpet in a 2000 XKR convertible that has a cashmere (SDZ) coded interior.

I realize that the seats are cashmere, but am I correct in believing that the secondary color (carpet, wheel, door inserts, etc.) would be Sable (AEK)??

Anyone had any luck using a carpet dye to fix a few bad spots in their interiors?

Cashmere is normally paired with Sable but I wouldn't just guess. There's Jaguar recommended colour combinations and then there's original buyer's choice which can be different.

Any Jaguar Dealer can lookup the original factory build specification for you. This includes the secondary trim colours.

Thanks again. A quick call to a local dealer confirmed that the car is another Cashmere paired with Sable interior.

Now to find a quality product to touch up the carpet.
