Default Securing Headliner

My headliner is sagging at the rear. Thought the Velcro was not working properly but today discovered that the dealer installed replacement headliner does not have a mating pair at the rear! The body side of the Velcro is simply not there. Simple fix but what is best option, Velcro, double sided tape, spray adhesive?

The best way is to get a whole new headliner but if you want to just keep the original one I found the best way is to use safety pins. Mine is covered in them but I never notice them really.

The headliner is in good condition, it is just not properly attached to the body.

I used these
pins pins
plus a strip of thin wood/dowel across the B pillars. No-one seems to notice.

Resolved. Headliner was replaced by dealer under warranty some years ago. Was secured by Velcro. At the rear centre there was a Velcro hook securely attached to the headliner but no loop mate attached to the body. $10 later, fixed.

Nice one. Cheaper and better than my pins!
