Is there an on-line source for service or shop manuals for the XK8 (in my case 2000). I have searched the forum and no luck. If nothing is available on line, what is the best source to purchase the paper version?

 

There never was a paper version. Dealers and now everyone uses the CD based Jaguar Technical Information System (JTIS). It is available as a free download on this forum: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...ead.php?t=9933

Caution: Accessing the JTIS information is not intuitively obvious. Reading the 'HELP' file will unlock previously hidden data.

There is also a world of information at the top of the XK8/R forum under the FAQ sticky including a pretty complete parts list with diagrams.

 

Thank you - found the links in the thread and am downloading now. I have some ECU problems with my 2000 XK8 and need to find the thing and the codes.
