Shenandoah Valley British Car Festival
Mrs. WXKR and I attended the 32nd annual Shenandoah Valley British Car festival in Central Virginia this past Saturday. I had attended once before in 2010 and really enjoyed the show, so I was really looking forward to it again.
This year did not disappoint. There was a great turnout (close to 200 cars) and it was a beautiful summer-like day.
This year's featured marquee was Mini, but there were most British marquees represented, including some quite rare examples.
There was a nice turnout of Jaguars this year, and more XK8/R's than I had expected. One of the original Austin Power's XK8 Shaguars' even made an appearance!
The show had popular judging by class. I entered my white XKR in the Jaguar Late Model Sports class.
What an unexpected and pleasant surprise I had this afternoon when I checked the show website and found out I had won my class. I do not show the car often, so this was a nice honor.
Here are some pix:

Looked like fun! And of course your win, I mean look at that car! (I bet the pup put your votes over the edge!) :-)

You got that right!...My wife immediately went on Facebook and posted that the dog won the car show for me. Oh well
Well, the combination of the dog and the jaunty Jag Wrangler neck scarf of course.
Congrats on the win, and thanks for sharing all of the photos.
I would love to be able to attend one of those shows in the future. Please post when they are upcoming as a reminder to us all.
