A couple of weeks ago I started a new job, and being a smoker I get to go outside and meet people from all over the building (mostly tenanted by media and marketing companies) Without fail, every time I go out, there are people standing around my Jag admiring it.
I get into conversations every day (mostly with women luckily enough) who have been saying how nice that car over there is, how it stands out from the crowd and how classy it is. “Thank you.” I say, and they are stunned that it is mine and want to go over and sit in it and hear the engine (with Adamesh Sports exhaust fitted)
Part of my job is also being in charge of the security guards on site, and they have all been asked by the non-smokers who the classy black Jag belongs to.
No one notices or comments on the ‘M’s and AMG’s in the car park.
Gives you a warm feeling inside ……..

 

Exactly. I paid £13K for my XKR and it gets ten times as many admiring looks as a £50K Audi or BMW.

 

I wish my workplace was as 'appreciative'...well, I would if females actually worked here. Good story.

 

That's one of the reasons I bought a Jaaag.

Coworkers who own Mercedes and Lexi are impressed when I say that car is my Jaaag.

Its not really the car that impresses them, more of the fact that they know what a cheapskate I am. One has said:"It requires the 'jaws of life' to open your wallet" :P
