I need some inspiration!

Since I have a 97 XK8, I have absolutely none of the 'modern conveniences'. The previous owner had two devices mounted to either side of the mirror mount on the windshield, but I have no clue what they were for. So, thinking about what I can do with that space, or other placement...

Give me some ideas please!

Hard to beat:
-Matching stitched leather
-Out of sight storage for adapters and cables inside the shell
-No permanent alteration to interior

That's cool! And that's also the first time I've seen the remote for the GVN-53. It's more user-friendly than I was expecting. I thought that you'd have to scroll through all of the letters to enter a street name, but I guess you can just type it like you type a text message on a numeric keypad, correct?

Yes, you can type like on a phone or scroll. Also if you scroll, there is an 'eraser head' type mouse on the keypad, and you can select a QWERTY or sequential key layout. It is less awkward than the Jag OEM joystick.

That does look nice. I'm not sure if I'd get the controller add on, but the unit mount is in a good location.

Anyone else? Anyone mount a sat radio unit, radar detector or anything else and want to show their install? I'd like to see.
