The "toggle switch" in the drivers side door is not operating the side mirrors? is it possible that a fuse has blown and if so where do I find that fuse and what is its "amp" value?

This is on a 2001 XK8

Or is it more likely to be a faulty switch?

Had similar problem on my 2001 xkr it turned out to be a dirty switch, you can disassemble it all just take care and do'nt lose any bits.
I cleaned the contacts with spray contact cleaner and a non lint type cloth and elbow grease reassembled it and all now works.

 

Check fuse #4(5amp) is the passenger side fuse box.

I'm going to say it's likely the switch though.
