Gorgeous car, congratulations on getting it back home and ready for the season.

You should post the picture(s) on the sticky for shots of our cars.

I'm glad to see another back on the road. I'm suppose I'm a little prejudice toward the Silverstone. Have you had the tensioners upgraded. That should be your top priority if they're not.
These are fine GT's when sorted. I'm getting ready to turn 90,000 with mine.
Hope you have many miles of trouble free motoring.

Hi,
the tensioner are the second type, the only issues still to be repaired are the engine mounts with no oil to be replaced and the right exhaust manifold cracked. The strange thing is that both manifold where cracked in the same location, that drive my mechanic to give the reason to the mounts....... From what i read, are engines not incline to crack manifolds...... but if somebody have a different explanation is welcome.

Very unusual to have cracked manifolds on the V8. Although it was a Jaguar weakness on earlier six-cylinder models, they appeared to have fixed it with this generation engine.

Failed engine mount could certainly put additional stress on the manifolds.
