Default Some people have asked what my car...

What my car looks like now.
When I brought her home she was dirty, grimy, dingy.... un-loved
I sent her to a detail (usually I do it, but time was not on my side) He did do quite a good job. She looks 100% better after a deep clean, buff and polish that made her sparkle.
I still do not care for the color, a weird black / grey/ charcoal/ purple/ dark blue...... When it is time to get the scratches and dings taken care of, I will talk to the paint shop and see what he thinks about going super gloss black.
If any one is local I would trade my 19" Atlus wheels for a set of the standard 18"XKR hydra rims. Fronts are at 60% rears are new less than 500 miles on them.

Is the front lowered?

Looks aside, how are you liking the drive?

The front is not lowered, it sits low as it needs a complete rebuild. I have all the parts, I just haven't had the time to install them. I like the drive very much. I can't wait to see how it is when it's right.

Hello! BlooDSMeaR, The Jag is looking good and I like the color "Anthracite"! My 2000 XKR Coupe was that color and it had a Charcoal interior. I love the way it looks in the Sunlight.....It really Pops! It appears to have the "R" Package with Brembo Brakes...So I don't think you should be trading those 19" Wheels for anything smaller as they are pretty good looking as they are....The XKR cars look better with the larger size Wheels and preform better with them.....What you need to do to perk it up abit is change out the Amber side Blinkers and Marker lights for the Clear ones....That will really do wonders for it! Good luck with your XKR, it is really a beautiful Car!

Smile 19" Altas Wheels

BlooDSMeaR----I just looked up your Wheels and found that they are: Altas Chrome and they come in 19X8 (Front) and 19X9 (Rear) so you should have different size tires from Front to Rear, although they are 19". My Wheels are Montreal's and they are 20" and they have different sizes front to rear as yours should. The Altas Wheels are going for $795.00 (Front) and $695.00 (Rear).....If you still want to trade them,

You should trade up to 20" Detroit's or Montreal's, as most of the 2004 through 2006 XKR's had....Don't trade down to a 18".....

You have bought a beautiful unique Automobile that you will be proud of for many years to come...Take care of it and improve it with the little touches that I mentioned earlier...

Go to the Thread, "I can't sleep" as there are lots of photos of XKR's there!
