Default Source for interior material......?

I am in the process of repairing the convertible latching mechanism on my 2002 XK8. The material in this area has been soiled with dirty hands and tools. So since I have these parts off I would like to replace the material to restore its good looks. My code is SDZ, which I believe is casmere.
Does anyone know a source for this material. It looks like just pretty much common stuff, but I want to make it match. If I can't find it new I may carefully take it off the backing and try to wash it.
Thanks for all the help I am getting from this forum. I would be lost without your help.

I'm assuming you're referring to the velour lining of the convertible. It's common polyester velour that can be found in most fabric stores, but trying to match colors will be tricky. This fabric is certainly washable with soap and water, so you might try that first.

Along with trying to source your material at your local fabric stores, you'll find a wider selection (as well as typically higher prices) at your local automotive convertible top / interior restoration shops. My wife was not satisfied with the limited options at the fabric stores, but she found an almost exact match at the local car ragtop/interior store....
