I’ve had my 1999 XK8 for a year and just found a second vehicle care XK8 manual hidden in the top of the glove box!

If anyone wants it, I’m post it for free. First come first served.

I've seen a lot of Vehicle Care Handbooks but never one with Jaguar XK8 on the cover.

My early '97 Vehicle Care Manual has Jaguar XK8 on the cover.

 

Could be the US versions. The UK ones look like the one on the left in David's post.

My recipe for the conversion so far is: S type gearbox (obviously), Aston Martin V8 Vantage flywheel and clutch cover, 26 spline Chevrolet 10.5" friction plate, S Type diesel concentric . Next up, I'm building a test cradle so I can work on the engine (4.0 XJR) more easily and get it running on Speeduino engine management whilst I paint the engine bay while the engine's out of my Volvo 240 estate.

 

I have a few internet friends who have got their conversions running before me, and they have all used half of an S Type DMF and a small spacer
