Spark Plug Gap?
JTIS says 1.0 - 1.1mm which equates to 0.039 to 0.043 inch for the 2000 MY. Specs changed to 0.051 for '01 and beyond. If you bought the NGK plugs ending in 11E they should be correctly gaped. If you bought the 13E that is factory gaped at 0.051 inch.
I just put NGK iridium in my 99 xk and the owners manuel stated plug gap at .050 and the NGK's came gapped @ .052. The NGK guys assured me the gap and the fact that they are iridium core everything will be fine. The car is running very good now. I also just replaced all 8 coil packs as well.
