Looking down from my lofty perch, I re-read YOUR thread and see that I interceded before you damaged a fuel injector that would have cost you $200.00 U.S. of YOUR "dosh". You're welcomed.

 

If you reviewed the URL links, did you find everything in order? I didn't disconnect the battery because i find it hard to believe there is electricity at the coils when the ignition is off - other reasons? And, i had to unattach both ends of the air intake pipe (not just at the filter box). The filter box had a couple of electrical wires (which i did not need to dissconnect), probably to a sensor. It would be nice to know the name and purpose of the sensor, if that is what it was.

Just out of interest, are the fuel injectors fixed in place only by the retaining clip (we talked about) and is a special tool required to remove them. Or, are they attached elsewhere as well?
