Default Special Tool Rear Bearings

99XK8, While rotating my tires I checked the top to bottom play on the rear bearings; I found movement. I also discovered I need to do a complete brake job front/rear and replace both the front strut mounts. I was researching parts when I was told I would need a special tool to replace the rear bearings. If this is true where can I order/acquire this tool?
Also, what the general opinion on replacing the rotors and pads front/rear with ceramic pads and slotted/drilled rotors vs. OEM?

Before you change the bearings on the rear check and see if your universal joints are not creating the problem.

If you have vertical play (top to bottom) when you move the rear tire and not horizontal play (left to right) that is normal according to my jag dealer. I have a 99 xk8 coupe.

I had this same issue a couple of months ago.

Normal...Wow, that's great to hear. I have enough to do on the car without worrying about the bearings.
