Default Spoilers again

I too have decided to put a modest spoiler, lip, wing? a la XKR on my xk8 cause it just looks too round. Been to the previous threads where this was gone over some time ago and didnt find anything really definative. Been looking at the $27 Taiwan Essen models and the $300 Mina models.
Any further, recent input from folks who have purchased these. Problems or pleased.
I sent a pm to XKRacer but havent received a reply yet.
Thanks all.

I saw a post on the X-Type forum about a spoiler that would fit the XK8.

You took the words out of my mouth, go to the X section and look for a thread about $40 spoilers. They seem pretty happy with them.

I've been visiting my parents and just got back .... We do a copy of the 05 XKR rear spoiler for £75.

I am sure one of the guys on the forum here has fitted one of the cheap chinese spoiler and seems very happy with it, they are quite flexible and can be persuaded to curve to match the trunk line, can't knock it for $45, just depends how original looking you want to go ?

Thanks Folks.
And thanks to you XKRacer. I may email you on site depending on what I find in the X Forum.

Well folks,
I went to the X-Type forum and those people have had a lot of experiance with the Tiawan lip spoilers but mostly square edged or round edged. Regardless, they were all happy with the quality and the value.
I found a tapered edge called the TM3 that looked very similar to the spoiler that I had on my XKR. It was not listed for my car but emails through EBay with Riana confirmed that they would do one for me. BTW, XKRacer had a good quality replica at a very reasonable price but I decided to give this one a try. It came to $50CDN, everything in.

I ordered one from M3_Revolution in Taiwan (contact Riana) off EBay and it arrived one week after I placed the order via FedEx, Painted perfect in my paint code.

Using masking tape I located the positition I wanted then taped a guide on the trunk after removing the wax with alcohol. Started from the middle and it went on great. Attached are some pics.
I`m not suggesting you should all go out and order spoilers but I wanted you to know that my experiance was very possitive with these folks. I`m very happy with it and have gotten rid of that `round bum` look .
