Stains and marks in headliner
Hi All;
I was cleaning my hands today in order not to dirty up the cloth headliner above my rearview mirror (the green shower-don't ask!) and I was using one of those disposble cloth hand-cleaner wipers that we buy here in Canadian Tire (Pep Boys for Americans). They come in a plastic tub, and you pull them out one at a time. These particular ones have an orange pumice-like abrasive on one side, and are smooth on the other, with some sort of waterless cleaner saturating them, and they do a great job cleaning grease and grime off your hands. There were a couple of water stains and dirty smudges on the grey headliner cloth, and out of frustration I scrubbed a stain with the un-abrasive side of the cloth. The waterstain disappeared completely! So did the oily/dirty smudges when I tried it on them. As soon as I get my convertible top operating, there are a few more over the driver's window that I want to tackle.
Just thought I'd pass this on; it works better than anything else I've tried.
