I am having a lot of trouble with understanding where the horn switch is located on my 99 xk8. the training manual states that the switch is the one that is located on the steering wheel pad. the only one that I can see is between the air bag and the cross brace on the back of the pad. could some one help me out with this ? got to get the horn working for inspection

 

The switch is definitely in the pad over the air bag. Below is a couple of threads about dealing with the switch. Make sure to follow the instructions for disconnecting the air bag.
