Are the Audio control and Cruise control switches on the wheel of my 2000 XK8 backlit? It just occurred to me the other night as I was looking at the wheel in my X (where the switches are backlit) that maybe the ones on the 8 should be too. If so, how do I get to them? Come to think of it, the window switches in the driver's door are dark too. Or is this a model-year thing?

I should mention that the 8 is hibernating for the winter anyway, but I could get ready for a project in the spring!

 

The cruise and audio steering wheel controls are not backlit.

 

Thanks, SJ. I won't worry about it then. Maybe I'll get a Miner's helmet or something with a light on it for driving the 8.
