Afternoon,

I have put a new audio system in my 2000 XK8 conv. Its works fine but I would like to add the steering wheel controls. The system that was removed was in Alpine Premium unit.

I have purchased a Axxess ASWC controller unit which will work in a 99 but it informs how to hook up to a 20 pin conn.

I just pulled out my new system enough and the is a 24 pin yellow conn and a two pin con. I believe the yellow conn would be for the phone and the other unit for the SWC.

If any assistance can be thrown my way it would be greatly appreciated.

Check carefully, it should actually be a 26 pin yellow connector, not 24 pin.

You connect to pin#2, which is a red/white wire on a 2000 (not pink/yellow as in 1999).
