Default Stern custom wheels

I just bought my first Jag (2000 XKR).
I am a long time hot rod builder and I have to admit that I am thrilled with the performance and handling of my new ride.
I am also blown away with the information on this site.
Has anyone ever installed the Stern ST5 wheels on their XKR ?
If so what size 18" - 19" - 20" and what offset did you use for the front and rear.
Also what make and size tires are you using.
I appreciate your time

20" Stern St 5 Wheels Rims Hyper Silver BMW Chevrolet GMC Jaguar Pontiac | eBay
Here is a link to the wheel I would like to get.
I spoke with the distributor a couple of times and they said that they would fit my XKR, but that the center may not fit because the front spindle will protrude into the center cap.
I explained to him that is not the correct, because my front end does not have a typical protruding spindle. There is only about a 1/2 " lip sticking out past the the mounting surface of the rotor.
Would you happen to know the offset for my staggered 8" front & 9" rear factory XKR wheels?
I have searched all over this site and have not found this information.
These new wheels have a 13mm and 15mm offset.
This is the first time that I have ever been on any forum so please let me know if I am doing something wrong or if I should be posting this in another area.
I appreciate your feedback.

The website link you gave says these are NOT compatible with a 2000 XKR. So either the distributor is wrong or their website is incorrect.

Quite like those wheels myself....but.... a 120mm PCD is a little different to the Jag at 120.65, it is not a lot I must admit and you may get over it with eccentric lug nuts but this all depends on the clearances in the wheel holes....

You will need some bore spigots also if the wheel counterbore is too large the jag is 74mm off the top of my head

Also the offset is a bit small and you will probably need to fit some 5mm spacers which will be fine with the length of stud

The owner of the custom wheel shop that I am dealing with is at the SEMA show.
He stated that he will stop by the Stern booth and get me my needed information.
I was told by a couple of different shops that the 120mm bolt pattern instead of the 120.67 mm should not be a problem.
I was also found out that the center bore on the jag is 73.9mm and the center bore on this wheel is 74.1 mm.
That should not be an issue as I found a .2mm centric rings on Ebay.
You are correct XKracer, I may need to go to a 5mm spacer on the front to clear the caliper.
I do not think that a rear spacer will be needed since the caliper is actually behind the wheel mounting surface of the rotor.
I did find out for sure that the 9"rear wheels have a 35mm offset and the front 8" wheels have a 33mm offset.
Hope this information will help someone else down the road.

Man, that much 'difference' would worry me, too many variables, one thing to correct another... good luck with the new wheels!

If the offsets are 33 and 35mm you will need much thicker spacers, the XK is 18-20, you are going to need at least 15mm and if there is no pocket on the back of the wheel you will have to change all the studs to bolts to hold the spacer on.

I would not go the extended stud route that is just asking for trouble....

I apologize for my lack of understanding, but what am I missing?
My original REAR wheels have 35 stamped on the back (to my understanding indicates that it has a 35mm offset.) Doing my measurements that works out to be true.
Likewise my FRONT wheels have a 33 stamped on the back.

If my original Rear wheels are 35mm and I am switching to new 15mm wheels then that would be a difference of 20mm.
Therefore the wheel would stick out 20mm more towards the outside of the fender.
I currently have 1 1/2" or (approximately 38mm) from the side of my tire to the outside of my fender.
With the new rim I would still have approximately 18mm to the outside edge of my fender.
The rear caliper is behind the mounting surface of the rotor so no spacer should be needed.
What would be my issues with this set up ?

If original Front wheels are 33mm and I am switching to new 13mm wheels then that would be a difference of 20mm.
There again, the new wheel would stick out 20mm more towards the outside of the fender.
I currently have 1 1/8" or (approximately 29mm) from the side of my tire to the outside edge of my fender.
With the new rim I would still have approximately 9mm to the outside of my fender.
The main difference is that the front caliper does stick out 12mm in front of the mounting surface of the rotor, therefore I may need a spacer there to help the new wheel clear the caliper.
I do not mean to turn this into a novel but What am I missing ?
All of your responses are appreciated.

Just a thought here, but if you are in touch with the rep at the SEMA show, you might ask him if you could get a set of wheels "custom" built that will actually fit without the stud, bolt circle or offset concerns. I realize that they might be "one offs", and may cost a bit more because they aren't regular production, but I would think all the machinest would have to do would be to alter the CNC program a tad for you. Or, he can build more to sell to other Jag enthusiasts! I mean, there are over 180,000 XK8's out there someplace, arent there?

Does it actually have stamped on the wheels "ET 35" on your original rear wheels?

As I have stated the original X100 (to my understanding) has an offset of 18-20mm

Click HERE and it will take you to a site with a listing of a lot of makes scroll down to Jaguar and it says there 18-20 with a 74.1 counterbore

Arush, you're correct, the stock Jag offsets are 33-35mm. I think all 8-9" wide wheels had these offsets. The 20x10 rears had ET 25.
