Default Stock radio antenna connection

Just to preclude any unforeseen complications in replacing my stock radio in a 1999 XK8, Does anyone know if the antenna connection to the radio is a European connector of some sort or a conventional socket like here in the states. I'm installing a Kenwood KDC-BT652U with Bluetooth etc.

Possibly a picture of the rear of the stock radio where the antenna connects?

I purchased the install kit from Nexxia with the face-plate adapter and the wiring harness. (I still have to adapt the new radio side because it is a smaller connector than the ISO supplied.)

Thanks

It's just a normal antenna connector.

Thanks. At first I thought you were wrong, but I pulled hard enough and it came out.

Any idea why the massive braided ground is attached to the back? I've seen battery grounds on rice burners smaller than that!

BTW, how did you get such a detailed picture with the size limit?
